Our Financial Guarantee
When you book through us your money is safe and sound. We
comply with British and European legislation in respect of the travel industry,
in accordance with the Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992, where all
guests booking with Speyside Wildlife are fully protected against the loss of
any monies paid to us for the holiday (and repatriation if required) due to
insolvency, by way of an Insurance Policy with Am Trust Europe Ltd, Market
Square House St James’s Street, Nottingham, NG1 6FG.
The cover excludes money paid for flights which is separately protected. In the
event of a claim you should contact the administrators of the scheme. They are

The holidays with flights are ATOL Protected, since we hold an Air Travel
Organiser's Licence granted by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is
ATOL 4259. In the event of insolvency, the CAA will ensure you are not stranded
and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.

On any flight-based holiday, CAA regulations dictate that all guests must have
insurance. Proof of this cover must be forwarded before we can confirm your
final payment, however we strongly advise guests to take out insurance cover for
any holiday, in case you need to cancel prior to departure due to accident or
illness. You are free to use the information sent by us, or to take out your own
policy.
Cairngorms National Park Brand
Increasing quality whilst reducing impact
Speyside Wildlife have been granted use of this Brand by the Cairngorms National Park Authority. This is only given to those businesses who have agreed to a set of quality standards in respect of their visitor experience, together with a commitment to reducing their impact on the natural environment.

Scotland's Wildlife Tourism Association
Wild Scotland is Scotland's Wildlife and Nature-based Tour Operators' Association - a group of wildlife professionals who are all committed to delivering a first class wildlife-watching experience to their guests. Members provide a wide range of wildlife attractions and holidays throughout Scotland, from birdwatching to whale-watching and from boat trips to land safaris. We have been involved in the association from its conception and have worked with VisitScotland on the new accreditation scheme for the industry.

Quality Assurance Scheme (Wildlife Experience)
Speyside Wildlife is one of 40 wildlife businesses to be assessed under VisitScotland's pilot scheme for Wildlife Experiences achieving four star status for our day tours. Watch out for the designation throughout Scotland. We were delighted to receive our letter of confirmation from VisitScotland so thought we’d share some of it with you here. “Thank you for participating in the pilot of the new Wildlife Experience Designator within our Quality Assurance Scheme for visitor attractions. Your feedback and contribution to the introduction of this new development has been invaluable and we would like to welcome you as a new member of the Quality Assurance Grading Scheme.”
Environmental Policy
Doing our best for the environment
We're all becoming increasingly aware of our impact on the environment. Consequently we've set out to do our bit to reduce our footprint. Not only are we adhering to the "reduce, re-use, recycle" ethos, but we're also making a contribution back into the environment. Speyside Wildlife has linked up with "Abriachan Forest Trust", who are dedicated to involving local community groups in replanting mixed native forest. For the travel and transport included in the price of our holidays, we shall buy trees from Abriachan Forest Trust to help offset the effects of climate change. Each hour of air travel is offset by ¼ of a tree and each 1,000 kms of car travel is offset by ½ a tree.
